108 mph in the 1/8, what ET?
Ran at the 1/8 mile track last night, known for its shitty prep. Best 60' was 1.62, best pass was 6.76 at 108.13 MPH with a 1.69 60'. Just wondering what kind of ET I should shoot for? Going to a better track next week and would love to hit a 9.9x in the 1/4. Last pass in the 1/4 it went 10.42 at 135 and the 1/8 mile was 6.76 (same as last night) at 105.5 with a 1.63 60'. The car should be 300-400 lbs lighter than the 10.4 pass and I intend to run it much harder (it was a very light pass).

Also, I spun ALOT. Had to abort the 1.62 60' run completely. Car got squirrelly on every pass to some degree. I was expecting 110 MPH in the 1/8 and something between 6.40 and 6.50.
I gotta find a little skinny dude to drive it, these passes were with my 300+ lb *** in the seat.

I have a lip in front of me...
6.18 @ 112.85 was good for 9.67 @ 140.4 in my car, with a 1.43 60 foot.
Car in the other lane went 6.44 @105.63 to the 1/8th with a 1.41 60 foot, and he ran 10.22 @ 128.19
That being said, it will depend on how your car is in the back 1/4 of the track, I have gone 9.9 with a 6.40 @ 110 mph 1/8th time, so I suspect that you should have a low 10 second car with good traction.
Car's not hitting the tires at all really from that video, you need to loosen the front shocks up a little, maybe lower the back of the car or raise the front up a little to get more weight back there. What tires are you running?

I'm running 28X10.5 Et drags, 13 psi in that vid.
Shocks were set to 0 in front and 7 in the rear IIRC.
This has gotta be a 9 second car. At 3900 LBS it went 10.42 at 135, and that was a very soft launch (1.63 60') and didn't go WOT until 2nd (thought it would spin). Now its about 35xx lbs and I took alot of weight out in rotating stuff (brakes, wheels/tires, etc) and I am leaving harder (or trying at least).

I'm sure it will run 9.xx once you get everything coming together in a pass. I went 10.008@133 and I think the 1/8th was 107. But you will need a low 1.5 to run a 9.xx, if not a high 1.4.
I'd leave off the 'brake, run the rears slicks at 12 cold, and front shocks at 1 or 0 and the rears at 7/7. Make sure you're in the grove.

I don't have a brake. I've been leaving off idle. The car used to 60' in the mid 1.5's (1.53 best) when it ran 11.50's at 115. I should be able to cut a 1.4x no problem. The only reason it didn't back then was because it didn't have enough nuts.
I kinda wanted to experience a mild wheelie too. It used to yank the tires about 4"-5".
I have a Spohn drag sway bar and we had to really preload the end links because of my weight. Car feels really stiff out back now, its all bouncy on the street and ****. It does seem to leave flat though, no noticeable pull to one side.
