Default New Bolt-On dyno #s (High)

I recently dyno tuned a 99 SS. The car picked up a ton on the dyno but im currious if it may be some sort of record. All this was done throught 853 heads. The car has : LT headers, p&p tb, off road y , borla catback, ls6 intake, slp airlid, ud pully, and is currently on a speeddensity tune.(372.19 rwhp/ 382.08rwtq....sae) (380.95rwhp/391.08rwtq.....std)

i'd say happy dyno.. or strong car.. either way nice sheet just watch out for that lean spike toward the end.. it's alot wider than i'd like it to be...

the dyno was pretty consistent, when we started the day it made 347/358 we did a total of about 13 pulls and it gradually improved. Im still working on the lean spike issue. The car has always had the problem and has been hard to pin down

not to many at this point due ti slave cylinder problems and stock gearing but we took it out once to an 1/8 mile and it went 8.4 at 91mph with a 2.4 60ft

would bolting on a factory set of 241s be considered a bolt on still?

I have a set of 241's for sale with Comp 918 springs if you're interested

#'s are definitely on the waaaay high side. Highest/strongest stock internal LS1 I've ever seen did 361 rwhp and that was an 02 with the all the updated stuff (intake, heads, etc)

Pretty good numbers, record numbers, I am not sure. I believe there was an all bolt on c5 zo6 that hit 400 rwhp. That was lg pro longtubes no cats, Billy boat bullets, ported 90 fast, ported 90 mm tb, asp ud pully, and Meziere EWP, also had a CAI, not sure on the brand.

Based on the 91 mph trap speed I'd say that the dyno is accurate. Damn strong car you have there!

Thats not really an apples/apples comparison since that is an LS6 motor

To claim any kind of stock internal record I would go to another dyno to back the #'s up.

dyno "records" are silly IMO. if the car feels strong, that is what matters. I have seen a LOT of ls1 cars and never seen one dyno near that high (unless the correction factor was turned off and it was negative DA)

^If the only thing that mattered was how a car felt then I'd sell my LS1 and buy a turbo 4 cylinder because they "feel" real fast due to turbo spool up. In the case of this car he's backing his dyno numbers up with track numbers. I don't see anything wrong with dyno records as long as the car backs it up at the track.
