Default Little D-1SC on my 408 GTO

Here it is guys after many months of down time due to overheating and not having a good fuel system, I finally got my car back on the dyno.
Mods:
2004 GTO
Auto 4L60E with a 3200 stall
408 Iron block 9.0:1 comperssion ratio
ETP 245 heads
FTI Cam 236/248 .617/.617 115 LSA

But once again I ran into a very small problem.

We ran out of injector and ran into belt slippage. Once we get bigger injectors and fix the belt slippin issue we should be around 800rwhp! That was on 15psi by the way.

Big thanks to Gil Nevarez at NRP for for putting such a beast together for me.

Damn, those are some huge numbers! Good luck getting the setup dialed in with the new parts.

Looks like a real nice car once you get the guy out of the picture

Great numbers. I fear for your tranny though. That's a lot of power through a 4L60E.

Wow thats impressive. Im suprised that the D1 hasnt run out of steem yet, especially with all of the good flowing components on that motor. What size pulley? Im running a 3.7 on mine and I saw 10#'s with my 408, and my setup is a bit more restictive than yours. Great numbers!

Same here man, and my tuner said as soon as we put some bigger injectors in it he sould be able to get at least 775rwhp out of it.

or for the pulley I am running a 8" crank with 3.4" blower pulley.

thats what everyone tells me but, I have had that same tranny at 550rwhp for 2years, then at 660rwhp for 1 year and now at 754rwhp for a few days. In total I've done about 30 track pass on those power levels. But none at 754yet. I know its been on the day crazy amount of times. We put about 8 pulls in total with it at around 750ish rwhp with in the last 3 days and its still good. Some pass were just for tuning and then the next day I took it out drove it around to a car meet/dyno day and put another couple passes on it. I now its going to go but damn all I am going to say is I have one strong
4L60E.

that is good. i thought when i'm at 400rwhp or more i must have 4L80E transmission or such strong tranny. then i think i will be OK with my 1996 LT1 caprice impala SS when i'm at 550rwhp or so with the 4L60E tranny.

I've had nothing but troubles. Bought one of the sponsors trannies (can't mention the name) the pump leaked at 100 miles and then blew up within 400miles of that. At this very moment, its sitting in a local trans shop for yet a 9th try. I'm also having someone else look at the trans tune.

Best of luck to you!!! That car has some major power!!!
