500 RWTQ on LS2 with 243 casting????
Saw this on Corvetteforum. Someone claiming to be making 500 RWTQ with an Ls2 on pump gas with ported 243 castings. Again, this is Torque, not Horsepower.

Note the dyno graph.
I'm having issues with both the grpah, and the possibilty of making that much torque out of a 364" motor. Just wanted to get some input. Also, has anyone seen what he delta was between a Dynomite and a Dynojet.

Now these engines were on 100 octane race fuel and only lasted a few hours, 2 to 3 races of run time before they blew up.
On pump gas, I dont think so either.

J-Rod the Speed World Challenge C5 Vettes( LS6s and also the LS2s) were making over 550 rwhp and over 500 rwtq with LPE 243 casting (http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/88958622.html), GMs cup cam, dry sump, light wt rotating parts, Fast 90/90s engines. and a 7200 rpm red line.

Are you on crack? They NEVER made anywhere NEAR 500 rwtq, even unrestricted. Trust me, I know. Were they fragile? sure. As is any race motor.
