Good numbers. Especially through a 12 bolt with 1 3/4 headers

Strong for such a mild setup, I like how it pulls to 6500+rpm no problem.

That's what I'm talking about! Very nice numbers. No ugly dips down low and no drop offs at high rpm. Just think, if you were running a lighter clutch, a 10 bolt and 1 7/8" headers, you'd probably dyno 25-30 rwhp higher than you are now. Keep that in mind when comparing to other combos. That's a very stout combo, especially for what probably has very good street manners.

Congrats bro. I have to echo Pat G's comments. Your strong numbers with a heavy driveline should be a good measure for my 402 that is coming to completion. I got a cf drive shaft, exedy twin, dte stg III with 3.42's, A LOT MORE DYNO FRIENDLY then your drive line. Either way though thanks for posting the results and it gives me more hope that my combo will make big power when its done. I hope my 11.4 : 1 compression helps my torque numbers too, but I am totally drooling on your setup because its done and STOUT.

made those numbers with only 24* total timing... would love to see what it puts down without the intake and exhaust restrictions on some 100 OC fuel...

That's stout, for sure, with a GREAT curve. Congratulations!

Port that FAST, swap to 1 7/8 headers, and grab TSP's 100mm MAF/lid combo when it comes out next week and say hello to to 500rwhp and maybe matching torque!

In a couple of months I am planning on porting my FAST 92, getting a larger lid and getting 1 7/8 headers... Then we will see...

until then I need to race this car to see what track numbers Im gonna put down(but before I must deal with my sinking clutch pedal)

edit: Oh and this is with Harland Sharp Rocker rebuilds

congrats, man!!
nice numbers, and graph!!!

i am planning on going with a similar setup. cam is pretty close to yours. maybe 12.0:1 SCR. so, it is nice to see you can get nice numbers, and have a very streetable vehicle.

your thoughts on how it feels?

thanks, and congrats!!!

The car feels very good, it has minor idling issues.. and on downhill when I brake and press clutch sometimes the car would die, but now its better.. But the car feels excellent, I cant really shift through gears, but I made a 2nd gear pull 3k-6500rpm, 3rd gear and 4th gear pull... Boy does it pull hard in any of those gears! Great torque, throttle response is great and the torque is just exellent at all RPMs above 1400...

DAMN....nice torque!!

for some reason i thought the 5.3L heads didn't work well on the 402+ engines due to bore size.

i can't imagine what that setup would do with better heads...like some TFS 235s

let alone better heads, ported intake, bigger headers, and TDs
