Default Dyno Jet with horsepower rider?

Ever heard of a dyno that will recreate all sorts of racing or street driving scenarios? Supposedly allows the tuner to never have to take the car out of the shop to get 'real world' driving experiences. I've never seen one but heard a guy talking about seeing one. Ever heard of any such thing?

Was the simulator part of or attached to a Dyno-Jet? Ever hear it referred to as a 'horsepower rider'?

The simulator is the one where racing drivers get it a drive like a video game. It only costs a few million. Not attached to a dyno for sure.

This one is supposedly made by DynoJet and works the same way a program works on a stationary bike that simulates hills and crap like that. This guy says he can do everything on his DynoJet that you could do on the street or a race track. No need to test drive a customer's car ever! Sounds like somebody is full of s--t!

I'm guessing that this small shop owner does not own a multi-million dollar piece of equipment but is instead full of ****!

Its called a load dyno(eddie current dyno) and yes you can calculate, enter in the weight of the vehicle, and tune it just like it was on the street. You can even make 1/8th mile pulls and 1/4 mile pulls on it to simulate the dragstrip.

Gary Grimes Automotive in Cumming, Ga.
They actually get a credit from the power company, when the dyno is running
it is creating power for the power company.
