Default just got a tune! does this sound about right?

98 Z28 Camaro with 605 lift cam sorry dont have a cam card so dont know the specs, stage 2 port on stock heads, ported TB, fast intake, underdrive pullies and hooker longtubes with spintech exhaust? had it tuned on 2-26-09 and it made 415 rwhp and 390 torque. What do you think? sound about right or is something off?

A4 or M6? Hard to say without all the cam specs but it sounds about right.

its a m6 car. I think the specs are 232/232 605 605 and heads flowed in the 270-280 area

What kind of dyno? Just noticed you had ported heads. Should make a tad more I think, with that cam/heads/and the FAST intake. Take it to the track and see what it runs lol.

This is not my car by the way. I just know him. It was a dynojet. The car runs good. I'd say 12.0-12.1 but have to wait. Damn snow!

Sounds about right with a fast 90/90 i would think 430's but depends on the tuner and alot of other factors

Sounds about right to me. Maybe a little low but close.

well the guy that did the tune specializes in the ls motor cars he does very few fords. he said that in the 97 and the 98 ls1 the heads are not as good as castings as they were starting in 99. therefor my heads will not flow as much as the stock heads off of a 99 ls1 and that was why he said that i wasnt as high as i thought i would be? they guy that origianlly owned the car had all the work done at a raging motorsports in kansas city and it threw down 430 rwhp but Nick from MC racing said that he has never seen anything good come from them and has re-tuned many of there cars casue they were not running right and they are no longer in buisness. anyone from the midwest heard any pros and cons from wither MC Racing or Raging Motorsports?

I would have assumed that it would have dyno'd more, especially having the Fast combo. When I read the post I thought it was a A4.

yea it sucks that i have no knowledge of the car but it saved me alot of money buy doing it this way cause alot of the work has already been done! If i could do it again i would prolly buy a stock car so that i can do the work to it myself and learn as i go but i just couldnt pass up the deal that was thrown at me so...

Which FAST intake is this? a 78? What type of heads are on it, the 98's? Really hard to tell not knowing the specifics' of the heads, cam, intake or if the car has the ram air mod, type of lid, filter, MAF... I am guessing that there are a number of little things that could wake the car up a bit. It really doesn't sound that far off from where it would be expected. Also knowing the correction factor on the graph would help too.

To tell you the truth it sounds a little low. Although a safe tune can take away 10 or so hp if the last one was not safe.

My guess is that maybe these heads arent all he said they were...like maybe they're stock or very mild port work.

Also I'm pretty sure the heads didn't change till 2000. I have a 99 with 853 heads, I'm pretty sure that's what you haver also.

Maybe the vettes changed in 99 but I don't think the f-bodys did. If you wanna make more power get some different heads.

My car put down 393hp with stock 853 heads on a very safe tune. 232/236 cam

This is without a fast intake. With fast I could pick up some more.. So I think he might have just pumped the heads up in your head to sell the car. Although it's still a stout running car.

If my theory is correct it would runn really good with ported 243 heads...
