Default locking the conv on a dyno

im running a 4l80e with a compushift controller, FTI converter-if i wanted to make a pull on a chassis dyno with the converter locked, when would be the best time to lock it, somewhere after the highest stall point?
(i can make it lockup at 100% throttle)
i was gonna do this just for a comparrison
thanks

I would lock it early - before going to WOT in the gear you are doing the pull in. That way the clutches are locked before putting the power to them - less chance of slipping them...
