My car Dyno MS4 + Nitrous (Graph inside)
Hi , i'm wondering why my car pulled like those #'s at the Dyno !!
2001 Trans Am WS.6 M6 ,
my mods :
full exhaust SLP LM , MS4 112
patriot 660 lift springs
7.400 pushrods
4.10 gears
Diamond pistons -2cc
eagle rods 6.125
stock 241 heads
dyno tune wet system 150HP
fast 90 with t/b 90
walbro 255 fuel pump
Slp lid
ARP bolts and studs
why the car gained 89RWHP and 90RWTQ with 150 wet shoot ? , the car pulled with nitrous 480RWHP but i raced cars above 500RWHP i beats them ! i don't know why my wet system did't gave me 150 at the wheels

I'm having the same issue, cam only (MS4) with bolt ons it makes 396 rwhp n/a but on the nx 150 it only makes 494/528. The tq is there but I was thinking it would make closer to 550 hp.

but seeing that your cam is on a 112 LSA its not going to soak up the N2O as well as say something on a 114+
those numbers are actually about right IMO

To each their own, but usually 112's and up work very well with N2O. I run a 112lsa with a 150 shot, and the dyno numbers show a true 150hp gain. Anything 111lsa or below don't work as well with N2O. I personally think it's a lack of air issue.

looking at your dyno gragh and i can see that your car going rich on bottle , and IMO that thing needs to be fixed up and i'm sure you'll get a better results then
HOW .. ??
ok , here you go
1- check the bottle pressure if it's above 950psi or not , if so try to resize your fuel jets to get a better spray tuning
2- ok the pressure is fine 950-1050 psi , now make sure that you are using the right jets for your system (what ever your system is) make sure that you are not runing any jets related to other system or other kit
3- if everything is fine and still your system gives you the same gain , get your self other kit which is not cheap brand or universal kit
last thing i would like to say is somthing related to the camshaft specs. , it's known that the wider LSA the much friendly with NOS
and you got 112 LSA and IMO no wounder losing some hp gain when spraying
good luck buddy

I've found out that cocky guys with 600's don't like my car from a 45 roll.
But I've taken out my friends 510 whp 03 Cobra by 5-7 cars and my good friends 513 whp 00 vette by 2-3 cars. It runs real hard on the street, I've just learned not to go by dyno numbers.

The dynotune kits are not rated for rear wheel horsepowwer, they're rated flywheel horsepower, although 89 rwhp is a little low but I would assume your heads are the biggest bottle neck right now.
