Default Lq9 - L92 L76 M6 E85

Put the car on the Dyno for once to get so I could do some tuning on the new setup for a first tune attempt with E85

Lq9 6.0. Ruffly 30K on the bottom end.
L92 head l76 intake, factory 90mmTB.
23x/24x cam think its a .6 lift and posibly a 112lsa ( It was one of thoughs "it was in the garage" cams )
60lb injectors walbro fuel pump.
Victor Jr 1-7/8th headers custom 2.5inch exhaust no cats.
KN FIPK II ( LS1 style air intake )
M6- 3.42 gear , 29 inch tire with C6 18 inch wheels on the dyno. ( posi in the rear has been actin up )

E85 SD tune that still needs some work, but we had 3 cars to tune and I was just kickin off the night.

runnin 27 degrees timing and about 7.5afr
419.2 hp @ 6113rpm
388.5 tq @ 4450 rpm

Curve is real flat, starts out @ 330tq @ 3000 rpm and is real smooth the whole way. Think the exhaust needs some cut outs or larger diameter- Was expecting more power but its on a local mustang dyno that is known for being consistant and low.

Thats all.

I have heard that with a combo like this, the intake presents a restriction, I am also sure that the 2.5" exhaust isn;t helping out any. Maybe that is why the curve is so flat due to the motor being choked up a bit. Also, what was the DC on the injectors? If the dyno is known for being low, maybe try to compare your graph with other cars from that dyno with mods that should net the same amount of power or get it to the track and see what type of mph you can get out of it.

60 lb injector walbro pump- barely even passin 50%.

Dynoed previously with a 224/224 cam 6.0 - 317 head, mid length headers- dynoed right under at 400, with a more exponential style curve.

Car traps in the 115+ with a bad rear, soon as I can get something better than a 2.8 60' outta a broken rear.

2nd car was a Turbo car built by 1320 , stock displacement 480ish hp. The Dyno is a baseline for me really. Stock car on a different day put out 300 even with a K&N filter and a tune by me.

I head some time back that FAST is making a intake for those heads. Maybe follow that and get a cut-out as yoru next mods if you are planning any. Should have great results.

Gonna try an open header setup as a test of exhaust change, if significant changes are noticed then I will keep it in mind when the twin turbo kit goes together- This car is done as far as motor goes.

The intake is not a restriction on a 6.0L, LS3 Corvette's are 6.2L and put down big numbers. The 7.5:1 afr is probably holding you back. Stoich for E85 is 9.76:1, if you use the same ratio as normal gas about (12.9:1 NA for WOT), you should be about 8.5 - 8.6:1 at WOT. Lean it out a bit.

Saw bascily no change in power with a change in AFR - from 6.5 - 8.5 its about the same mostly losing power - so I kept it a bit rich since at that point we started running the car to 7000 on the dyno
