Default TBSS w/ H/C and TC

First my mods:

Kooks 1 3/4 LT's w/ hi flow cats
3.5 inch catback
Fender mount CAI - 4inch tubing (custom)
Ported factory TB
Factory intake - port matched
Vig 3600 3-disk TC

The important goodies:

224/230 XER lobed cam (112+4)
PRC Stage 2.5 243's

Prior to the heads it put down 397rwhp/395rwtq - Ran a decent time as per my sig below

With the heads and some fine tuning - courtesy of Sam88Gta1 - it put down:

415rwhp/483rwtq - unlocked
434rwhp/417rwtq - locked

*Numbers might have been hurt a little by my TC and even my wheels - 20x10's with 315/35 rubber.

It's a highway monster now though, for sure... Well, as much as a 4 door brick of an SUV can be anyways.

Next time I get it to the track it's gonna be quite fun!

Sounds like you made some nice gains. We'll have to line our bricks up some time at the track.

I'm assuming from your location that it's a 2wd? Nice gains from the heads! Should run 11's now!

Yep... 2wd, I figured it'd be cheaper in the long run. LOL

I'm hoping for 11's..... And low 12's in crappy air.

I'd be proud to be sportin a low 12-second TBSS. How good/bad was the D/A where you ran those times? If it's in Dallas, you've got a really quick SUV on ur hands

DA was as close to 0 as we get around here.... Typically it would run 12.4's in "usual" weather.

Here's the dyno graph:

Very strong power under the curve. Just what a heavy TBSS needs to haul ***.

Sweet SS saladbar, I used to see you post on tbssowners all the time! That thing must be fun as hell to drive, catching everyone off guard with the grocery-go-getter! My TBSS does it and its not even modded.

I gave it to a guy who returned his TBSS to stock and sold it.

Thanks for the kudos.

New PB to be announced on saturday. LOL

Great results bro! Looks like the PRC LS6 Stage 2.5 heads really did well over the stock 243 heads you removed. Great results!!!

It was..... I wasn't too terribly thrilled. But it looked good!

Best ET I mustered out of it was a 12.44@109.5mph. 3000' + DA, 127* track temp ... Not ideal conditions at all.

I'm gonna hit up the new 1/4 mile in Dallas on friday night, so even if it's the same-ish DA, I think the track temp alone will work in my favor.

Heads are working out swell though. For comparison's sake, last year I ran a 12.8 in 1800' DA - 2 months after my 12.25 ... DA has a huge effect on these bricks.
