Default Mississippi/ Louisiana Dynos?

Recently picked up my first Z28 LS1 and I love it! Only problem is lack of traction!

Anyone have experience with Dyno tuners in the South Mississippi/Louisiana area? I'd like some recommendations from personal experiences. Need to get my car dyno'd and tuned.

Only real mods are Pacesetter LTs, ORY, MagnaFlow cat-back (minus cats) and SLP lid. I know I could benefit from a tune and don't plan any more motor mods soon. Plus I'd like to eliminate the SES light from no rear o2s (guessing).

BTW, I'm a COMPLETE NOOB at tuning...yeah its that bad. I searched in the "pcm diagnostics and tuning" section and even the stickies were greek to me.

Suggestions for where to get Dyno'd and tuned?

Thanks

I googled and found Thunder Racing in Baton Rouge, LA. Anyone have any experience with them? Looks like they do LS1 work often.

Just an FYI to all: Thunder Racing does not have a dyno at their new facility. I was surprised to see it was missing and Shane said they were not planning on putting one in.

Any ideas why? If they are still doing a lot of tuning, wouldn't it help to have a dyno?

I think Geoff got the dyno and tuning software in the split.

Geoff and Angie parted ways, he still does all the tuning for them but he got his own shop which is EPS(engine power systems) . He is a sponsor here, look to the right for his websight.

Geoff helped me to make my Nova Idle even with the 239/243 cam in it.
It idles perfect.

I learned how he did it with my own efi live and made my Trans am Idle better then any other f14 cam car that I have heard.

Thunder still sends Geoff all the cars to tune, they just each run there own buisness.
