Cool Gained 20RWHP/58TQRW with only powerbond underdrive pulley !!

Hi , like it says , i'm not trying to lie or anything but this what happened and i'm very pleased with the results , same jets with previous tune and timing did't changed anything only i installed POWERBOND underdrive pulley and NGK BR7EFS plugs instead of TR6 , the car pulled 596RWHP 584TQ and car still rich i should change the fuel jets and i believe it will hit +600RWHP , timing set 20 degree.

this is the old dyno run with TR6 and without pulleyhttps://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...ms4-chime.html

i'll try today to post the graph as soon i get the graph from the tuner

Just curious, are there any adjustments you have to make after installing an underdrive pulley....tune or anything, or just bolt on and go?

sine the spark plugs were alsochanged I think maybe a spark plug had a bent tip or damaged or a spark wire not connected properly .... seen it before ... this is the explanation I can come with for the +50 tq gain.

You did not gain that much power from a underdrive pulley. The bottle PSI was higher, the A/F was leaner, you were detonating before with the TR6's, something to that nature. A underdrive pulley does not give nearly that much power..lol.

also, did you remember to put the belt back on too? lol, seems to be pretty high for such a slight mod. i would have to say something was messed up on your dyno numbers before the swap, either way, you have it fixed now!

maybe spark plugs did gained this results because sponsors at Nitrous section recommend me to run with TR7 plugs for 100-200HP because TR6s for 75 shoot.

just i said and this the third time i'll say again , the bottle pressure is the same , A/F is rich , maybe TR6 not responding nitrous as well .

my guess for the huge gain is the fact that your were pushing 550+hp before the UD ulley. your freeing up a higher % of hp

Maybe the stock balancer was bad? Creating harmonics that caused the pcm to pull timing? Or one of the many other reasons people have already listed.

What did it gain from the swap of the pulley without the nitrous. That is what I would be wondering. N/A to N/A. Too many variables in nitrous IMO for true consistency.
