427 LS7 Dyno results with Vid
A huge thanks to Whistler for building this motor, and a huge thanks to Cal Hartline of Hartline Performance for tuning this car to perfection so that it somehow does not buck or surge almost ever. Oh, and how could I forget Jake LaMotta of LaMotta's performance for his dyno time and patience. The car is a Monster, so my MONSSTR license plate finally seems valid.
The car is a 2002 6 speed Camaro SS and previously was modded with a full top end package, Kooks LTs, GMMG, and all the MM (mickey mouse ) bolt-ons to make 470ish at the wheels with OK torque around 410.
The new engine is full of goodness with a new honed LS7 block, K1 crank, Manley H-lite rods and pistons, all balanced to within .5g.
For the top we did PRC LS7 heads with Ti/SS valves, a comp LSR cam (249/263), Morel lifters, 3/8 pushrods and ported the stock LS7 intake.
1 7/8 Kooks to a Bullet Muffler Y-pipe to a GMMG catback
The 90MM TB from the old motor as well as the EWP, Textralia clutch, etc.
The car made 564rwhp and 500tq in a humid *** 93 degree Florida shop on a no BS dyno.
Final Pull

Earlier pull for the noise alone

Very nice numbers. I have a friend that had jake lamotta build his full out tube chasis race car motor for him. To bad its a kenne bell 4v. Should make some sick power though. You should bring that thing to tampa some time

Thanks guys, the exhaust has lost its rasp as the tune settled, it sounds great now. Some mushy 3000 rpm toll booth runs.

Yeah it pops a bit on low rpm shifts, we still have to do drivability tuning in the car. No loud backfire though, basically no louder than the gurgling pop it makes when its under 1500 rpm.

Yeah its a 10 bolt until the wheels are done. Hopefully it can wait as long as possible. The car ran out of intake and injector/fuel pump on the dyno, so I want at least 60lb injectors and maybe a fast 102 before I put in the rear, the car is done at 6500 so there is plenty left. I just want to get to that power before I put in a 9 inch, I want apples to apples on its power output before I cut some out with the rear. Its a street car only so, we'll see.
