Default 04 GTO, cam/intake, results

Just got done tuning my goat on the rollers. Of course I forgot to print the dang sheet, but i'll post that up ASAP.

I was going for decent numbers, and good driveability.

car in question is an 04 gto,
MS3 on a 112/dual springs
ported fast 78 manifold
ported stock TB
85mm MAF
pacesetters/catless Y, corsa catback with a 23in bullet added in underneath the car(it was too loud)
6 speed.

best pull was 406rwhp @ 6400, still makes over 400 until I shut it down at 6800.
tq was in the 380s. need the graph for exact.

i'm happy with it, its very well mannered cruising, believe it or not. I can throw in in 6th @ 40mph and lug it all day. THe tq numbers were decent too, I thought ms3s werent known for making anyt tq.

Do 04 GTO's have 241 heads? I'm looking forward to the graph.

LOL dynojet. I was thinking more along the lines of 425hp, but eh.

I'm sure the car will make a little more with some timing and injectors, I had to richen the crap out of the PE table to get it to 13.0. PE is in the upper 1.30s right now, compared to 1.teens at the most with a good set of squirters.

injectors are maxxed out and go over 100% quick

Those numbers look solid to me. I'd be very happy with that. Definitely post up the graph so we can check it out.

Always the same story; dyno numbers cant be 20-30 off from another..So how does it run?!

I think those are great numbers if the dyno is not too happy.

Dyno is stingy...

messed with it more today, got 410hp out of it. THe injectors are 117%..i'd say theres a good bit of power to gain with some 36#s or so instead of my factory junk

I also sprayed nitrous straight out of the bottle at the air filter, about 2 feet away, and layed down 540hp. . video soon as i get it up on youtube. yes we got bored. and no don't even make a comment about how thats bad, I don't care, its not gona hurt it unless your really stupid

Nice... spraying essentially a 150 dry shot into your motor with your injectors already at 117% while N/A? Seems stupid to me.

and it still didnt go past 117%(i know, irrelavent, they are quite static already), and didnt go lean...but yea its not the best idea, but as you can tell, i don't really care, it wasnt going to blow it up doing it a couple times.

I need injectors though!

Am I missing something here? Why are people saying that the numbers aren't good for a cam only LS1?

Those #'s are good. Most people don't realize, GTO's usually dyno 5-10 less because of the drivetrain.

Injectors yes...retune with injectors, yes.

tuned now? NO, its got every bit of power squeezed out of it right now that it can do with stock squirters..its got a lot of tuning done to it.

Why does everyone think the numbers are low? because its not making 430? lol

Numbers are good. I only make 380s. I have a nitrous cam and 4:10s. If I had a ms3 and stock gears I am positive i'd be just over 400. 400+ for a cam only car is always good! But like most people say and only half believe, dyno numbers mean ****. Get that bish to the track.

+1 track tells the truth, screw dyno #'s. They are for people who can't back up track times.
I never said the #'s were low, said it needed injectors and a tune; as it does. 117% is never good lol.
