Default can you lock and unlock converter while on dyno

my question is can you activate the lockup on the converter while its on the dyno to make a pull then unlock it to make a pull then you could see how much hp you are losing through it i know you would have to have the truck moving to lock it but do they do that or can you do that having my truck dynoed again on wed driveshaft broke the first time just curious i have the feeling that my stall is not working correctly

Well yea punctuation would probably be better just never used it unless i was typeing a letter or something important. It would probably be a good idear to use it all the time im not that good at it anyway.

Certain types of tuning software can lock the converter, and a Tech 2 scanner will also lock it.

I believe I've done it in HPtuners once. VCM controls should have a lock option.
