the cam just seems awfully small to be making power at 7k, not to mention the desired 7400 shiftpoint you want. i can see it in a 346, but not a 408 with those heads. that thing will need serious air to make power above 7k with that many cubes.

If you are looking for a higher peak power number on the dyno, then it will probably work nicely for you. If your goal is to go faster down the track, it will not work for you. Power under the curve will suffer badly. The FAST will out perform it to 6400-6500 RPM badly. After that the Super Vic will start to pull away slightly but not enough to make the car go faster with a 7400 RPM redline.
