Default 2010 Camaro before and after of TSP Cold Air

I tuned the car stock, then added Kook's 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats and dyno'd again. Those results were 387rwhp and 388rwtq and here is a link to that thread. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/dynamo...only-dyno.html

I finally got to install my TSP cold air kit yesterday and get back to the dyno.. I was VERY happy with the results! Final numbers were 403rwhp and 401rwtq! That's a pretty healthy gain from just a cold air. So as of now, the only mods on the car are TSP Cold Air and Kook's 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats. My next mod will be offroad pipes for the Kook's and then an under drive pulley.

Nice results Gomer, these ls3s are crazy they are putting close to H/C ls1 numbers with just bolt ons.

LOL.. this is my wife's daily driver. I'm going to do a 22x/23x cam and a set of your new LS3's in late March I think. I have a few more bolt ons I want to do before then.

Great illustration showing how choked/restricted the factory air box is. Thanks for sharing.

I remember your baseline numbers thread. Were you going to do each mod individually, tweak the tune and re dyno each time ? If so this is going to be one hell of a source for the 2010 camaro and doing mods.

Yes, I'm going to dyno and tweak the tune after every single mod. I get a good rate on dyno time, so it's no big deal

I wonder if there is anyway to put all your posts from baseline to finish (once its completed) without all the comments from everybody and have it made into a Sticky for the 2010 Camaro, or Reference for modding the 2010 Camaro ??

That would be cool and I wouldn't have a problem with that at all. I still have the following bolt ons to do: UD pulley, offroad pipes, ported TB, ported intake, and finally a cat back exhaust. After those mods I'm going to do a small cam and then a set of heads.

Whats your opinon on an EWP Gomer? Is there one available ? Probably more of a gas mileage mod rather then power increase. I saw over 4 mpg highway improvement when the pully and ewp were installed. I've been running one on my 2000 FRC from when it was a h/c 346, and reused it on my 402 (both versions). No complaints. I do have a backup EWP in my closet though for the day it does fail and then back to Meziere for a rebuild.

I know the guys at the dyno shop Scott uses will keep his data for him! He's probably spent more time running their dyno than they have!

I ran an electric WP on my 2002 for years and loved it. It's only worth 3 or 4 on the dyno, but I could pull the belt off the car and run it without a belt for a gain of a solid 10rwhp without the car getting hot. Like you said, I did see an increase in mileage on the car. I have a 2006 5.3 Z71 that I drive every day and have done as much as I can to improve the mileage on it.. my next mod on it will be to get an electric WP going on it.
