Cam only C5 dyno 5/18
By this time tomorrow night I will post my results.
Here is the baseline for the setup.
Baseline mods:
Dynatech LT's
Cats
z06 Ti exhaust
Vararam CAI
Hand ported throttle body
Tune by CJTunes
Stock clutch / flywheel (potentially slipping)
Baseline Result: 338rwhp 349rwtq
Now added:
Bauer Racing Engines "The Duke" cam, between a 228R and MS3/MS4
PAC 1518 springs
Trend 3/8" dia pushrods
Pro-Gear timing set
Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley
McLeod RST clutch
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
I would have dyno'd with the stock clutch again for comparison but it would let go at 5000rpm in any gear higher than 2nd, rpms would just shoot straight to redline.
After result: 414rwhp / 379 rwtq SAE corrected.
The tailpipe wb02 makes it look pretty lean, last fall it was good on the LM1 in the header collector, that will be investigated further shortly.
