Default low dyno numbers with 228r?

Hey everyone I have had my cam in my 99 Trans am for a few months and a few thousand miles now. I am bored at work and decided to ask if i am the only one who thinks 385rwhp and 377tq is low for my mods?? I agree that I really need to get to the track to really see how it peforms, but while i am bored here at work i would just like to see what others think. These numbers are from a dynojet also.

I don't think that 385/377 is low considering the size of the cam. Track times will tell the tale.

If you dynoed at XP I would be even less concerned...my car only made 345rwhp there with mods in sig and unlocked converter.

It's funny, here on tech it seems like everyone has a 400rwhp cammed car, but the people I talk to in real life often make 370-380rwhp with the same type of car/mods.

Yes tuned there. Ha maybe his dyno is stingy or more realistic then others. I agree tho, just earlier i was reading a post about people saying 409rwhp was low for a car with cam only (lil bigger than mine).

My car with mods in sig only made 414/392 with 7lbs, but you otta see the *** whoopin it puts on ls3 vettes from a 60 or so roll. Bottom line: damn a dyno, bring it to the track.

40rwhp from that Cam is normal. Put in a real light clutch assembly and make a good 10-20hp more.
