Default eps 222/230 .597/.600 117+4 results

I got a 01 camaro 6speed with 4.10's that will be with AIR equipment hooked up on stock manifolds and cats and ypipe..the only add ons will be UD pulley, electric cutout and SLP lid with FTRA. Picked up some 243s and did some light bowl work and added a eps 222/230 .597/.600 117+4 cam

I'm a lil disappointed but overall happy. So after getting scolded by Rick at synergy for spending to much time online and thinking to much haha. He did a great job. Car drives great and feels good. Of course I wanted 400 rwhp but realistically thought 380 ended up getting 371/370

Not sure if this was with cutout opened or closed since I was at work and forgot to ask when I picked it up a few hrs ago after dealing with traffic and those wackos.

Anyhow here's the graph and as for passing smog he told me not to be disappointed if it didn't pass but I'm sure he tried his best to tune her for it I'm going to do a test smog at work hopefully tomorrow

Nice curve man. Why aren't you going with any bolt-ons? You'd make your 400...

Good numbers John! Considering the heads aren't ported and you don't have headers. If you got ported 243's and headers you would be at 400 rwhp easy.

Was this on stock injectors?

Nice job man...glad to see ya got it worked out. I wonder if those injectors
aren't causing that midrange issue you refer to ??? Most guys are making
at least a hundred more horse to need 42#ers.

I'm running 42lbers with only 380rwhp.
the LS3 has 42lb injectors right? isnt he making close to the same hp?

I wonder if that cam would be better off advance only 2*

What is that dip in torque too?

I noticed the dip as well. hmmmm, most charts I see the torque curve is flat.

This may sound stupid but couldn't you run some shorty/mid length headers to a catted y-pipe and still be smog legal? I know the gains wouldn't be as much as a nice longtube setup, but I would have to believe you'd gain some power going that route. You've gotta let those heads/cam breathe.

Just my $.02

Am I the only one who thinks the numbers are low? I would not be pleased if it were my car.

Should have went to Force Fed Performance. They pulled those numbers with a smaller cam otherwise all stock vehicle and had an amazing torque curve... Just sayin'

Every dyno reads different guys. Just because (insert name) made (XXX) rwhp on another dyno does not mean a thing. A dyno is a tuning device, don't get caught up in the numbers. Take it to the track.

OP, did you get a baseline on your car?

Yea noticed the dip and don't honestly know what it means. I do have a valvetrain issue not sure if lifters or short pushrods. It'll be just wasted money on shorties for the gain and no base dyno since I did all the work and was almost a yr process LOL

Dude, I wouldn't worry about it, the format of the dyno sheet sucks like I said. Usually the horsepower/torque are in increments of 100 but in yours, it's 5 making dips much much more prominent than it really is. It's only a dip from 365 to 360 bro.

Really... with stock manifolds/Cats/ Y-pipe even? headers and ory would pick it up 30whp, putting it 400+ whp...seems about right to me.
