383 dyno
I changed my setup recently because I am driving the car everyday and needed something more streetable than a th400 with a 5k stall and tbrake(fyi you cant drive those a lot on the street with a brake or the trans breaks, found out the hard way) The motor is the same, its a 383 LS1 about 11.5 CR, TFS 225cc heads, ported FAST 102/102, Ed Curtis 24X,25X cam, t56 magnum spec 3+ clutch, s60 3.54 gear. It has a fairly conservative tune on it right now, prolly could use a cutout also, but overall good numbers. The car is a rocket as long as the rpm is above 3500. Only thing that needs to be done is get a lower set of gears when I can save up some money. The tune is great, runs smooth and when I start it cold in the morning it idles fine although the neighbors may disagree.

it only made 400 through the th, with a transbrake there is a constant line pressure so you cant drive it thousands of miles or the transmission fails, like mine did. I am not an expert, thats what the expert said was the reason for the trans taking a ****. It was brand new with like 8000 miles on it

not bad through a dana 60, i'd run more compression with that much cam personally, You have a restriction some where either on the intake side or exhaust imo
When You Use your trans brake it applies first and reverse to keep the car from moving, if its not setup right you can burn stuff up pretty easy, especially if reverse is trying to be applied while you driving

havent taken it to the track since gateway in STL closed. I never used the transbrake, didnt even push the button, there is a constant line pressure or something and you cant really drive them much at all. The transmission shop said shifting on the way to work was just as hard as taking it down the strip which i never did once on that transmission

You should gain about 30 RWTQ and 30 RWHP bypassing the single 3 inch magnaflow with some dual cutouts. My 396 LT1 gained around 30tq 25 hp through the entire curve opening up the cutouts bypassing my edlebrock catback.

Those are crazy gains from a cutout! Hope I can reproduce those results.
