Default TSP Heads & Cam Dyno #'s

Well, after running the car stock internal for a while we decided we wanted to step up a little. So we emptied out the bank accounts and took the car up to Lubbock, Texas so the guys at Texas Speed & Performance could work some magic for us. All the guys up there were great; Matt, Brian, Trevor, Jason & Joseph, thanks guys for everything.

Car: 2001 Camaro Z28
Mods:
Pacesetter LT headers w/Lane's 3" X-pipe true duals

oops, they were unlocked as well. It was not spun to 7k, i belive it has to do with the converter slipage and the way the dyno graph sees it. Like in the stock internal dyno it looks to be at 6.5k rpms, but rev limiter was set at 6.4k and we didnt hit the limiter.

that rpm is falsely picked up when you lock the convertor on a dynojet. usually the graph will show 2-3 hundred rpms more than your rev limitor acts at.

I'm glad to hear that you're pleased with your setup! I know that we are. 99 RWHP from just a heads/cam setup is pretty nice. Just imagine what she'll do once we get an electric water pump and FAST intake on it to replace the current LS6 manifold!

Reckless - I bet she'll trap higher than 120 MPH.

The RPM reading is screwed up from the loose converter. The RPM reading usually isn't too bad if the converter is locked, but flashing a 4400 RPM stall tends to throw it off. I have a few graphs from my car showing I pulled it to 7500 RPM, but my limiter is at 7000. There has been talk that Dynojet is going to release some updated software to fix the problem, but everytime we speak with them there isn't any progress made.

We'll see ya Friday.
