EPS (Pat G) 230/234 Dyno & Track Results (UPDATED 10/9)
I had my car tuned at RPM Speed (WS6Store). Was waiting to post my numbers until I had some track passes under my belt. I'm very happy with the cam, the car feels strong and has a very good powerband. Anyways, here are the results:
Cam specs: EPS 230/234 112+4 LSA .600/.602
Car dyno'd at 385 rwhp 366 rwtq after the cam swap (330rwhp before the cam) peak hp @ 6200, peak tq @ 4700. Ambient temperature was 93 degrees for the dyno run (72 degrees for the bolt-on run). For reference, a cam only C5 Z06 dyno'd 389 on the same dyno.
Took the car to the 1/8th mile last night on BS Street Lites with 26" Hoosier QTPs. This was the best pass:
1.71 60
7.62 1/8th
93.75 MPH
898 DA
(Previously 8.27 @ 87 mph 1.89 60 ft. before the cam)
Limiter is set to 6400 and the car was hitting the limiter just before the traps. Need to bump up my limiter and hopefully get into the 7.50's @ 94-95. Was doing consistent 1.7X 60 fts and the 10-bolt held up great! I'm happy with the results. My suspension is not set up at all for the track, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Hoping for 11.5-11.8 @ 116-118 range in the 1/4 the way it sits. The car is full weight with A/C.

UPDATE 10/9/11
Went to the 1/4 mile track tonight. The air wasn't quite as good as the 1/8th mile runs earlier in this post. However, the car still ran very well and the 10-bolt held up to even more abuse! I need a shift light to hit my shift points better, the factory tach is lagging quite a bit. Anyways, below is the best timeslip of the night (car is still full weight est 3400-3500 lbs):
1699 DA
(Previously 12.8X @ 110 1.91 60 ft. before cam swap)

Thanks, wheels are 15 x 3.5, 15 x 10
I was at the track by myself so there was no one to take video for me lol. First time I've raced on bias ply tires, had a blast with the 6-speed!

Thanks, and yes that is what I was doing on the launch. Ran it up to 4-5k and slipped it out of the hole. I know I'm living on borrowed time with the 10-bolt, I have an 8.8 build in the works.
