Default C5Z with G5XB in N/A setup

This is my 2002 Z06 that i just did a cam swap on. I am setting my car up for a supercharger so i switched out my ECS n/a camshaft for an LG G5XB. I also removed the 92mm FAST intake/LS2 TB and SLP UD pulley. If you are looking at the graph the RED line is the ECS cam, FAST combo, SLP pulley, ARH long tubes. The BLUE line is the ECS cam, LS6 intake/TB, SLP pulley and ARH long tubes. The GREEN line is the G5XB cam, LS6 intake/TB and ARH long tubes.

All the dyno pulls and tuning was done by BLUECAT TUNING

I am really shocked at how low your TQ numbers are for all 3 setups

yea it seems my car just does not make as much torque as most. I figure some of it is the 1 7/8" headers losing low end ftlbs. Never had it dynoed stock though. The UD pulley may have added a few ftlbs/rwhp with the G5XB but oh well.

Maybe they are not low, possibly they are accurate.

What does Blue Cat say?

Not knowing the spec's of any of the TSS cams listed I would not like the torque loss from the cam change.

phil said they are a little low but he has seen similar results. Plus the G5XB is a blower cam so is in not going to perform as well at this stage. The car has no problem breaking the tires lose in 1st/2nd gear from a roll and feel good down low. I think they are true numbers to be honest. I meant to say i have never had my car on a dyno jet in stock form. When i first put the headers and vararam on it I had it tuned by a local friend. The shop he works at has a dyno dynamics brand dyno. He used the setting that gives you dynojet type numbers and i dont know if they were std or sae numbers. So no sense comparing those two dynos now. Two diff dynos, tuners and years apart.

Typically, dyno graphs like that are generated by camshafts well into the high 230's/240's installed in a 346ci engine that bleed off so much cylinder pressure they make no low end TQ.
