Default Stock Short Block Ms3, Ported 799's, Unlocked Numbers

Whats up guys? Some you may know my car and some of you may not. We finally bit the bullet and added some goodies to be more competitive in the heads up series we run out here on the West Coast. The car is mainly a purpose built nitrous car so we just put it on the dyno to see what it would do for fun.

About 3 years ago we had it on the dyno last and with stock heads, Fast 90/90, Pacesetter 1 3/4 and 10 bolt it did 436 380 Locked and 388 340 Unlocked

Here is what the car has currently:

Ms3
Home ported 799 heads with changed valves and port work
Fast 102/102 with Nitrous Express 2 Stage Plate
Kooks 2inchx3.5inch Headers to 3.5x8inch long Vibrant mufflers
SSRA to Fast Toys 90mm Lid
Speed density tuned
Stock water pump and power steering hooked up
9inch and dynoed with slicks
Unlocked Converter with a th400
3280 raceweight
SuperFlow dyno

On the dyno after getting the fuel perfect it did 455rwhp@6700 391rwtq@5600 Unlocked

We were pretty happy with it and I probably could have added a couple more degrees of timing but really dont need to as it will never be ran on motor. We spray this stock shortblock with about a 300hp worth of nitrous.

It went 9.52 141 with the old setup on the 250 hit and 5.95@115 on 300hit to the 1/8 mile in the heads up class we run. We are hoping to 8's with setup and break the stock shortblock nitrous record which is 9.29 right now. We shall see what happens. It should respond really well with the way we have the exhaust setup and thats why its so big.

Huge thanks to:
Mark Romans (one of the best tuners in the business and great friend)
Nitrous Express
FTI Converters
Dad
Motor Machine

Thanks for reading

Cam

Ill try to get a graph up but dont hold your breath

Great numbers. Your car's performance does your dyno numbers justice. We both have heard folks brag and get caught up on high dyno numbers, but their cars run like crap at the track.

Aren't 799 heads the same as 243s?

The stock cube nitrous record is by a NON F-body/Vette which I really don't agree with.

Thanks bud. Yea the 799 is the same general casting we replaced all the valves etc in them as well. I agree with the record thing but then again its an internet record so its whatever. Ill run faster than them at over 600lbs more raceweight. Its no biggie

Thanks man. Ill try to get some et's up. We are headed to Vegas this weekend but running a true 255/60/15 street tire so the overall et wont be there but we hope to go 9.40's around 146-148 on the street tire. its always a challenge

Nice results. Any info on the work that was done to the heads? I have a set of 799 heads sitting at the house that I was thinking about porting when I do my cam swap next month.

Changed intake and exhaust valves, stock intake size 1.57 exhaust. Titanium retainers and seats. Hand ported and polished intake exhaust ports and valve job. This is all off the top of my head.

Very nice results cam. The attention to detail really shows on this car.
Congrats man! I'm still shocked at the power it's making, and the ET it's going with that 300 shot. I would LOVE to see you dip into the 8's with a stock cube/bottom end LS1.
GL Bro.

One of my favorite cars out there. Good luck on the 8s man. Your build just goes to show that if you put the work in, you get where you want to go.
