Well coming from a stock internal full bolt on car it definitely has some punch. Your right though, the torque doesnt hit as hard as I expected but its smooth power all the way through. I was also on 19" C6 wheels and was using my hooker catback if anybody cares to know..

Sounds like a bit generous dyno for LS6 intake, 9inch, Pacesetter(ORY ??). Not hating, just saying

..anyway, looks like a very nice street setup, congrats!!

Well, for reference they told me a bolt on ls1 with an auto usually makes 310-320 on their dyno, so???

Either its a really strong runner for what it is or a bit generous dyno. Not impossible by any case, thats not what I think BTW. For reference, I make 404rwhp and trap 117

JRENIGAR-
Cant see your sig info on my phone but whats your setup? Im pretty pleased with the tune so far, just gotta button up some other things since I made the swap and then see how it handles abuse.

Johnnystock, yes it may seem a little high but this motor still has the factory cross hatchings on the cylinder walls and has no signs of anything wrong with it/abnormal wear so far. Texas Speed said to expect anywhere from 420-430 at the least with this combo and it did just that and a little more! It definitely is a strong runner and it actually pulled close to those peak numbers on 3-4 dyno runs. It was a Dynojet so you know how those usually dyno higher...

Stock engine,a4 trans, and 10 bolt 3.23 gear all with 190k on it, hooker lt's, tsp oryp, hooker catback, ls6 intake, ported stock tb, intercooled vortech v9-g trim with 8.5-9lbs@ 6000 rpm where it shifts @. Made 450/438 earlier this summer @ Dyno Speed. My car is close to 3900# with me in it because of extra **** like subwoofer box and 2 12in memphis subs and a big memphis amp. I also have heavy *** UMI weld in subframes and rear boxed control arms with poly bushings. 17in staggered ZR1's with 315 sumitomos that are heavier than the 16 in stockers. Glove box and console full of crap too. It ran 12.08 @ 117mph with 1.95 60ft @ Motorsports park last october. That same night there were a couple of 6 speed ls2 vettes with full exhaust and intakes running 12.5's @ 117-118mph with 60ft's almost identical to mine. If I can, I will try to post the dyno graph later this week, maybe...

It drives perfect and still gets the same 21mpg it got when it was bone stock. It does, however, have some sort of hiccup when idling. It sometimes studders a lil bit almost like a 224r cam or something till I tap the gas or it just quits on its own after about 10 sec or so. I ask about getting it SD tuned and they kinda shyed me away from that saying it wasnt necessary at my power level and the stock maf would be fine, although, I have heard it will make a pound or two more boost without it. I have HP Tuners but wouldnt know how to do it unless someone told me and I dont wanna pay to have it tuned again. Its barely loud enough to hear in or outside the car at about 700-800 rpm's it has a slight whistle almost like the prochargers do. Im probably just gonna get a meth kit and see if that helps enough to stay away from no2 and just drive it. Josh says meth should get about 50-75rwhp more and if so that will just have to do. I dont beat on it everyday but I do have fun with it from time to time. It was tuned to be safe at 11.3-11.5 afr and about 12 deg timing wot. The iat's usually run about 11-15 deg above ambient. Usually a run from 50-120 or so makes it rise from say about 70 deg to 110-115deg just to give others an idea of how efficient or not the system is. If I ever get another engine I would like ls6 heads and cam, if that netted another 30-50 rwhp Id be thrilled. Im really not sure if the iron 6.0 or another ls1 would be better because of the 70 or so lbs this kit weighs. I dont want a really nose heavy dd car so aluminum might be my only option...
