Default Edelbrock Stepped headers?

I hopped on edelbrocks blowout sale for those 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 headers for $194!!! Just curious if anyone knows what kinda numbers these dudes put out. Ive heard good things about them. I also went with a TSP 3" ypipe and I have slp LM1..ls6 intake+P&P TB, lid.

They helped to make 521rwhp with my 418ci motor through a 4L80E, 12 bolt with 4.56's and 315/60/15 drag radials.

Do you remember what kind of gain you got JUST from those headers?

Now idea what they made on their own. Went on a 347 with ported heads/cam etc. in a 1962 chevy pick up. Found their way on my new 418. Need to get rid of them.

They were at one point selling for over $1000. When you can get kooks/arh for that price, it's no wonder the edelbrocks weren't exactly flying off the shelf. They're a nice quality header, but not even close to $1000 header imo.

Thats music to my ears for sure! Haven't gotten around to installing mine yet. What kind of y-pipes are you guys running with these?? The 3.5" collector makes purchasing a ypipe difficult!

Edelbrock makes a ypipe for it, and i think TSP makes one as well?

Yea I've been trying to find one but no luck. Most likely will go with a catted tsp setup. Just wondering if I run reducers on the collectors is a good idea or not..

install was great..well as great as working on ls1 can be lol...big hands..i bought flowmaster reducer cones..and a TSP ORY...i ran into some issues with fitment in my garage..no sawsall or weilder...so i took it to exhaust shop..thy had to cut a few inches off my ypipe and welded everything up real nice...tucked up perfectly..sounds good minus my lm1 which sounds like butt...i noticed a big increase in power..feels like shes breathing better...i love these stepped headers

I got the Ti-tech coated for $194!! After shipping to my house in Ky, it $235. You cant beat that for a good set of long tubes. I am just waiting to get mine on too. Cant wait! They are goin on a bonestock car with an SLP airlid, mufflex ORY with flowmaster venturi reducers and hooking up to my SLP dual/dual catback. The car is also getting an LS7 clutch kit at the same time since my factory stock LS1 clutch with 109k is toast.
