Default whats a realistic number i can prepare myself for

i putting my my ls1 together and im getting pretty excited on droping this in the 69... i dont want to be heart broken once it gets on the dyno... tryn to get a idea of what she may lay down...
in the end of that day i just want it to run well...

lets see what everyone thinks and i'll keep it updated when she is ready

Cant say about how it would really effect the numbers in a 69 camaro but if in a 4th gen camaro I would expect some where around 440 rwhp. Some guys make more and some guys make less. Your cam is a little small compared to what most of the 450+ hp guys are running.

I would say around 440rwhp. I had a very similar setup in my old SS.

BTW have you flycut the pistons ?

Yeah it went 11.5@125. It definitely had more in it but the suspension was set up for road racing not drag racing. It was really to stiff. The MPH suggests it would have gone high 10's on motor with the proper suspension setup.

450/420 - spend some time on the tuning and the torque curve could look REAL nice if your C/R is good.

Yea man looks like it has the potential pretty easily for 450 and be very well mannered. Looks like a wining combo to me!

Would love to try out some TEA 243's instead of my PRC 5.3's

****. I went from a 325 fwhp scion tc to this. I think ill be happy with anything over a 13.5@111 mph. This car is so much better and fun.to modify.

No. I did t fly cut the pistons. I said when I was having the cam built. I didn't want to do that. So I hope I still shouldn't have to
