Looks like some good numbers with your drivetrain. Any plans to turn up the boost at all?
Im sure a few more #`s of boost will get you some pretty big gains with that turbo

I would like to make this block last for this season (no windows) and then next year it will have a stroker 408 all forged bottom end & CNC L92 heads with custom cam in the 6xx lift and 23x duration. I may go a few psi, but only shooting for 10.50's or so this year.

I wasn't really sure what to except so I wanted to see if this seemed about right for this setup to everyone on here.

I would think it would push a little more with that size turbo. But that drivetrain is going to rob a lot, and sounds like a fairly safe tune so I'm sure your right where you should be.

What gear ratio are you running in that 35 splined 9"? Just curious.

Yep, engine totally stock except for what's mentioned above. I wanted to do a real stock LQ4 boosted test.

Aeromotive Eliminator pump 8an feed and 6an return. 80 lb injectors aero motive boost ref FPR.

Guessing 3800 with me and fueled up

Sounds good. Hope to see some good track results!! Ill bet you could add another 2lbs of boost run it all season and still not hurt it!

I'm working on a Gbody build myself this year with a 82' Regal Stock Bottom LQ9, Trickflow 220 heads, and cam N/A Build car weighs 2980lb with no driver. Hoping to see mid to low 10's

Just realized I was at 110mph @ 6000 rpm with 3.70 gear & 88" circumference tires on all my dyno pulls (high gear). That comes out to something near 19% slippage. prolly should have it tightened up a bit. That's gotta be causing some power loss.

How did it look up top? Was it holding boost steady? I would think those yellow springs might be an issue.

I would think a little more power out of that Turbo compression combination but you may be pulling a lot of timing out.

For comparison my setup with an 8.9:1 CR pulled 600RWHP through a TH400 and 12 bolt at 10PSI. I know I'm blowing through the converter at around 23.5PSI and above but I don't know my slip at 10PSI.

well I maybe pushing my luck with my set up, but I want to see will it live! Got a new engine sitting on the stand. Got a completely stock LQ4, with 100xxx + miles, only thing I changed was the oil pan, oil pump, 60lb inject, LS6 cam&springs. 16 passes at 15lb boost, but timing is low 7.5-8.0. Getting HP to tune with, so I can turn up the timing. Also have a snow meth kit. Heads, and intake never been off.

Gear and converter are killing your #'s and will affect track times.

I would switch to a 3.20-3.40 gear and tighten the hell out of the converter.

I'm hoping the converter will be alittle tighter once there is a real load on it, the brake was not working on the dyno so we couldn't load the turbo. The entire pull from WOT @ 35mph to 6000rpm rev limiter was only 2.4 secs. I will know more after a few passes i suppose. I'm sure it will need to be tightened up for next yr's setup for sure.

The 3.70 should be ok, we only run 1/8 mile here (sucks ).
