Default looking for a tuner & guess my hp/tq???

started my car yesterday after the heads and cam. I have stock 799 heads, 236/249 601/608 113lsa cam, walbro 255 fuel pump, ported ls6 oil pump, slp air lid, long tube headers, texas speed x pipe, and slp loud mouth mufflers built a4 with my stock ten bolt. should have my ls6 intake in a week. Then im getting it tuned. wondering where I should be with hp/tq at the wheels.

also debating on where to get it tuned. maybe performance by Joe or tim that use to work at red line performance. any suggestions or experiences with one of them two or any other tuners near st.louis?

Looks like PBJ did a nice job on the jeep in your area
I'd guess 430/390 on power.

No way 430hp with stock heads and an A4. I would guess high 300s (365-385)

OP, did you check PTV clearence? Seems like alot of duration in that cam.

even tho ls6 corvettes were rated at 405 with a smaller cam and more restrictive exhaust?

and i did not, i was told i shouldnt have to worry about it. but how do i check it? and ive already ran the motor and seem to have no issues. does that mean it should be ok?

That 405 rating is flywheel, the guys are guessing rear wheel HP numbers.

just get it tuned
Dont get hung up on numbers, they dont mean anything. Two cars with the exact same h/c/i/e can produce pretty different numbers.

Stock c5 zo6s dyno around 360 at the wheels on a dyno. Thru a 6 speed and transaxle type rear end tranny mounted to rearend, and independent suspension. Yours is an auto thru a 10 bolt

When I ran a 238/242 .595/.595 lift cam I pulled the heads to port them and had marks where the valves kissed the pistons.....I got lucky and didn't bent any valves, but you NEED to measure your ptv with that duration cam shaft or you are asking for trouble

At the end of the day it made 371rwhp and 346TQ but there is more room to improve, but i had a misfire at 5500 RPMS that would randomly show up and then dispersal. and my passenger o2 sensor has a wiring issue with the extensions the guy before me put in.

Joe says thats roughly 415 through a 6 speed or 475 at the crank. also found out i have a 4000rpm stall not the 3600 that the guy told me. headed to the track Wednesday to try and beat my best of 12.8
