Default C5 LS3 TSP 231/236 Cam Only Rough Tune Dyno Results

Well, the car still needs quite a bit of tuning but I got a baseline on my current rough tune. Car dynoed at 460rwhp/455ftlbs on a Superflow eddy current dyno. Needs less timing up top and a lil less fuel. 1 7/8 headers and intake porting are in my future plans. Still as is, its making 20-30 more ftlbs of torque then most LS3's Ive seen with this cam. Hopefully some more tuning can net me another 10-15hp.

Stock L92 shortblock
Stock LS3 tb, intake, heads and rockers
TSP 231/236 114lsa cam
PRC .675 valvesprings
TSP 1 3/4 headers

Some nice steady state going on there, that's how it gets done. Tuning is actually very boring to watch unless it's WOT pulls. The steady state stuff takes hours & is boring as hell as a spectator.

To tuners it is fascinating to keep working tables to perfection

This is the first time I dyno this setup. Its a motor I put together last month and did the swap. A friend who has a local shop is helping me with the tuning. Thanks.

Gonna mess with the tune a little more today and hopefully hit the track on thursday. My current shift points are at 7000 rpm, but looking at the dyno sheet, what do you guys think, 6500 rpm shift point would be better?

Thanks. Yeah on a car this light the mid range feels pretty crazy, pulls really hard. Doesnt take much to wake these motors up. 80-100rwhp increase from a cam and exhaust is pretty amazing.

Its a modded TSP xpipe with two 3in Dynomax bullet mufflers that dump under the car.
