Dyno disappointed
Ok so I stopped at a mustang dyno here in town and he was saying everytime he would start a pull it would shift.. I dunno what all is done I do kno it's a ls6 with a MIT lid mid tube headers 2400 stall shift kit 373 gears. Borla exhaust.. Soo in drive it pulled 281/478 I was like holy **** in 3rd it pulled 290/451 in drive it pulled 280/280 does this sound right to you guys?

holy crap! way low! about 200hp low...probably due to your cam selection and lack of N2O...
seems alright. mustang dyno and autos wont yield crazy numbers...the 478 and 451 torque are a little weird...probably the converter flashing...
how about some more on this combo?

The high torque was the stall coverter flashing but hp numbers are close to.right on a mustang dyno and not being locked. Try and go somwhere where they can lock the converter and do a pull in the right gear and you will get more accurate # 's should be more like 335hp and 340 torque.

That's every thing I kno is done. I do kno the computer has been tapped cuz rpms will goto 65-7000 that's why I'm needing a new tune cuz under WOT if it's floored sometimes it wont up shift in guessing it's running past shift points faster than the Ecu can pick up..I've raced a new ss Camaro beat him by a whole car twice and a 6.1 SRT 8 challenger by half a car... Today I'm changeing all the solenoids in the trany to see if this helps my shifting problems

If the car has been tuned in the past I would be willing to bet that that is your problem. The computer looks for both rpm and mph under WOT for shift points and if one is set to far out of what should be the normal range then you will hit the limiter.
Might be worth searching for a legit tuner in your area and get it looked at.

I had my car on the dyno recently during a dyno day. It was a last minute decision on my part so I didnt have my laptop to lock the converter.
I knew where the converter flashed so the dyno guy just brought the car up to just over 3000 rpm before he went WOT.

I agree, some tuners give it full throttle and that leads to crazy non sense numbers. I have watched the way my tuner tunes his customers projects, he doesnt just gives it gas all the way lol. Maybe some track numbers would be a better choice, but gotta make sure tuner is tuning correctly otherwise big failures will happen.
