Default First Dyno Numbers on my Car

Well I finally got some dyno numbers today after having her tuned

Standard: 345 RWHP 359 RWTQ

SAE: 336 RWHP 350 RWTQ

It was a hot day today 80-90 F and this is driven straight off the street, no dyno tricks, full belts with ac belt on it (AC off)

I'm fairly happy with these numbers. It was a local mustang club having a dyno day and they invited the local f body club to come out (3 of us made it).

Funny thing is everyone is complaining about their numbers being off and such?? Mine dynoed almost the exact same as the day before when being dyno tuned at the shop.

So what you guys think?? Pretty good for my mods?? and yes it's a m6 with stock tires, stock 10bolt w/ 4.10 gears

Pretty good numbers you got there. Have you run it at the track yet? If so what were your times?

Nope, no track times yet.

1/4 mile track it like 2.5 hours away or so and local 1/8 isn't prepped the best. Gonna get some Nitto's on it first before I take it to track.

Correction:

Apparently the dyno that I went to that day was off cause everyone was complaining about being low. The guy that runs that shop is a tool and I won't be going back there again.

Here's a graph of my car before and after the tuning done by Jeff Creech at Carolina Auto Masters in Durham NC

Notice what appears to me to be really solid numbers under the curve

For those too lazy to look at the pic LOL

Before tune 337.6/346.8 rwhp/rwtq (SAE)
After tune 343.1/356.2 rwhp/rwtq (SAE)

Not bad for a tune heh?? I was happy with it since the gains are everywhere

Doesn't perform like a freak, but it does make good #'s...

Seriously though, you ought to be pushin alot more than what you dyno'd out...

I'm doing LS6 intake, ASP Pulley, and LT's pretty soon here and I'm sure I'll be hittin at the very least 360, but I'm hopin to get close to 370

My buddy (dubS6) makes 342/358 with the exact mods I have cept he's '01.... I dunno, your #'s just seem low for your mods....

what are you fillin her up with? I know it sounds dumb, but seriously, some F-Body owners don't fill up with supreme and that can result is some mucho KR.....

I always fill up with 93 Octane. No KR, full 29 degree timing advance. Only thing is I drove her 4 hours to the dyno shop before the tune.
