Default How does this graph look ?

Cam Motion sent me a new cam to replace a whining Comp cam, Specs are 230/234 603/604 on a 113+2 LSA with EPS lobes the rest of mods are in sig. The car runs great but the inconsistent torque line the graph really bugs me.

Looks like the scaling is off...torque and hp do not cross at 5250. See if you can get back to the dyno and have them rescale it for you and set it to sae.

So look at them as 2 separate lines? the Scales are marked on both sides of the graph. Tq scale is left, Hp scale is right.

It looks really good as a starting point, why wouldn't you get after the tune?

This is after the tune, cam company said this cam was the same as one replaced and wouldnt need to retune but I had my shop check it out and clean it up if needed and this what the graph looked like when they got done the torque line is all up and down all my other graphs from old cam line was nice and smooth thats what bothers me

Thats a hard to dyno sheet to read, its alot easier to read when you use the same scaling for both numbers and not different scaling for hp and tq. Its also in STD and not SAE so that always changes your numbers.

Look at this stock G8 I did years ago. See how the numbers are the same on both sides of the dyno sheet, makes it easier to read IMO and thats how most dyno sheets online are posted.

Yes, forced scaling is nicer to look at

It's the scaling. 300 ft lbs at 3k rpms looks good to me for a camshaft with that amount of overlap. Just curious but do you know the duration numbers at .200" and .006"?
