Default LS7 Stock bottom end / Mast 285 / vengeance racing custom camshaft

just finished up my new build and that's what i got

engine
Mast Motorsports LS7 285cc 12* Large Bore Cylinder Head. Solid Stainless Steel Intake and Exhaust Valves
Dual Springs with Ti retainers
LS7 Rocker Arm Stands
Vengeance Racing Custom Camshaft
Vengeance Racing 5/16th 8.050 Hardened Pushrods
Comp Trunion Kit for Stock Rockers
C5R Timing Chain
Cometic Custom MLS Head Gaskets 7.0 Bore, .060 Thickness
ARP LS7 Head Stud Kit

yeh you would expect that to make more, but it is just 4psi, std correction too, sae correction the numbers would be high 680s... still that hp in that car is a rocket, you really really don't need more

planning to upgrade from 6-rib to 8-rib with 4.0 pulley instead of 4.75 with pistons but still not sure if I'll leave the ti rods or not!

are you still at stock 11/1 compression? if so that is where i'm at as well... i've thought about doing a boost setup too, but its soo cramped in my engine bay it would cost a fortune just to get everything made to fit in a procharger or turbo kit... and i'm not a fan of positive displacement blowers... plus with the cam i have now my dynamic compression is really low so i'm giving up a bit of power... need to mill my heads to 62cc for 11.6 and that would put my dynamic in the low to mid 8s vs the 7.8 its at right now... i guess your gonna do meth with more boost? if you make 715 at 4 you should see maybe 850ish with 8 right?

yes soon will go down with 9 compression and ton of boost!.

Lowering compression with new pistons? I assume you're not getting rid of the Mast heads.

Why not keep compression where it's at and add meth, or convert over to e85? Been seeing a lot of high compression/Procharged setups lately.

the tuner I work with is not tunning with meth for a reason he said what will happen if the pump lagged or not worked while racing? "A blown engine" that's why I didn't use a meth btw the meth kit is on my car but it's useless about the compression I'll spray while maxing the D1 that's why I need it do be lowered about E85 it's not available in Kuwait yet.

I did not notice you were in Kuwait. I see what you mean in regards to using meth and if the pump quit working, but the same result would happen even if you weren't running meth and the pump took a ****.

I hear ya. It's a beast for sure and I'm certain you're having a lot of fun driving it. Procharger setups are so bad ***. I want one myself.

buddy you have to do it really you have to do it. that thing is awesome! Now I'm upgrading from D1SC to F1X with new LSX 427.

Your tuner needs to learn where to position your IAT sensor and spray the meth across it.. Then tune the IAT table accordingly.. so what happens when the meth doesnt spray??

Well it pulls about 12* of timing and feels like a turd.
