LS3 231/236 cam and intake 513 RWHP, 452 Torque
Thought I would share my dyno results for those looking at the TSP cam. After building my car for the last 8 years I was finally able to get it tuned last night by Borelli Motorsports. It is a crate LS3 with stock bottom end and heads. Texas Speed 231/236 cam, PRC valve train, and an ozmo intake manifold. 3" exhaust with Spintechs and dumps. Setup with a Holley Dominator EFI
It ended up making more power than I thought. They are going to work on it some more Monday.

So are you using the stock lifters? Did you upgrade the valve springs to deal with the lift on that cam? Started reading through your build thread over on lat-g but didn't get to that point yet.
Given the level of your build I wasn't sure what your plans for driving the car would be, but I was wondering what you thought this cam setup would do to the overall street ability of the car? What kind of manners does it have at lower rpm's?
thanks

The Ozmo intake system might also have something to do with it. If so that possibly spells good things for the new Vararam intake system.
Edit: I forgot to say those are very impressive numbers.

It's that $4000 intake manifold. Google Ozmo Intakes.

Anybody have any experience with that cam setup and whether it would still have good street manners for a driver? Not necessarily a DD but not a show car either.
sorry not trying to thread jack. just thought it would be applicable info here.
thanks

Seen a few stock ls3 engines make 500rwhp with cams in the 230 range. Nice build. Get the heads ported and you may get close to 550rwhp.
What exhaust are you running it sounds great, very tame. Hopefully with a header and not a stock exhaust.

Ill get the file from them Monday and post it up.
It just the video that makes it sound tame. I'm running Stainless works headers through a custom 3" exhaust and Spintech mufflers. The car is VERY loud.

After some more tweaks car hit 527rwhp and 462 torque. I either have a freak motor or this is one hell of an intake. Just cam, intake, and the best tuner in the area. Ill have a YouTube video of it later tonight

Looks like that Intake is worth 30 HP @ Peak & 30 lb ft over a 3000 RPM
range! With a cathedral cam no less, I bet another 3-5* of exhaust
Duration worth another 10-15+ HP FROM 6-7000RPM!
Great Results!
