The car definitely feels strong compared to the stock ls6, headers / cai car it was 2 weeks ago.

I forgot to mention these numbers are from a Mustang dyno.

Nice results, your car must be a lot of fun to drive with that power!

Did you get those #'s with Ca. 91 octane? If so, that's excellent.

Yes CA 91 pump. But the tuner did say he could only put 22 degrees of timing in it, I think my low end would be stronger had I used a stock gasket, which might have allowed more timing. Stock .051" gasket would have brought SCR down to 11.09:1 but that's just theorizing at this point. The torque curve looks good but maybe the car needs gears or something I dunno it doesn't feel as strong and flat down low as I thought it would.

I have some old Hoosier R6's that I will air down to 18psi and do a 1/4 mile day just for giggles, I built the car for the road course and I'm worried about the fragile C5 driveline...

Very nice numbers with a relatively small cam.

This makes me really anxious to get mine back running. My combo is going to be very similar but with a slightly larger cam and my heads probably will flow 6-10cfm less. Slightly less compression at 11.2:1 or so.

That torque is impressive.

Took the car to Famoso today just for kicks, ran a bunch of 11.60s - 11.70s @ 121-123 mph. 1.90 60ft was my best of the day, not surprised as the only tires I had were dried / worn out/ heat cycled Hooser R6 road race tires that I aired down to 18psi hot. DA was 1500ft. I was getting some pinging at top track, so I bought a 32oz bottle of Torco from the fuel man and pinging went away but it got a lot warmer and I only made 1 pass with the Torco (mixed with half tank of 91). The Torco did raise mph by 1.2 compared to previous pass, even though it was hotter out. So I think with cooler air and Torco or a few gal's of 100 octane in the tank, the car might mph 125, but not much more than that. I still have the stock tstat in the car, so it was running at ~210* all day. I wonder if that's contributing to the pinging? I've never once heard pinging on the street. I was hoping it would mph higher, but on the way home the car felt TONS stronger with the Torco in the tank, literally night and day. The motor has a more aggressive sound at WOT and feels like it has more low end. Either way, I didn't build it to be a 1/4 mile car, so 11.67 @ 123 is acceptable to me, given the tires.

That is bloody great mate!!
I had that same cam in my old car and I loved it. Was a real real surprise of a cam. While mine didn't put down as much as yours with it pulling an average of 374rwhp. It was my heads that didn't let it shine - they flowed 270cfm / 198cfm.
But it was really quick from 3000rpm in my 6 speed and flung around to 7000rpm with great pull the whole way.

Thanks! I think I saw your car on YouTube when I was looking for BTR cam sound clips. Mine sounds much tamer than yours tho lol. Might be the compression or larger displacement as my idle is quite tame.

I bit the bullet and ordered some 315 Hoosiers this week. I'm heads to Sac Raceway in 3 weeks for mineshaft air to try and go as close to 10.99 as I can.

Milled 1cc only... the LS2's 4" bore needs the heads to be milled less than LS1 or LS6 to achieve same SCR.

Holy numbers! those are great! I have the same cam in a 5.7 with hand ported 243's at 62cc with stock gasket through an m6 and 12 bolt with 4.11 it made 378whp on a dynojet. ran a best of 12.47@114. Hitting it with some nitrous pretty soon though. Have an Idle video of yours?

Been driving the snot out of mine and it feels really strong as well. Based on what it put down before with the ls1 and looking at my MAF readings I think I'm sitting around 425-430rwhp with it unlocked. The torque is up significantly over the old ls1 combo for sure.

Yep the torque was probably the first thing I noticed over the LS1 as well. Sounds like a nice setup OP
