A client of ours from Iowa brought his very clean, red 3LT Z51 C7 Corvette looking to make some more power out of an already capable platform. He had done a lot of research into different shops around the country and decided that VR is where he wanted to get his power fix. When we got the car to the shop to talk about the goals for the build, we realized how clean this car actually was. He ordered every single option down to the carbon roof! It really is a great example of a C7 Vette in classic red.

We talked with him about the options for the build. As the ultimate goal, he wanted to make really good power out of the LT1 V8 but he also wanted to be safe on the stock bottom end. Given those criteria we settled on our VRSC785 performance package which features a ECS supercharger, our CNC ported LT1 heads, a custom VR cam and a set of ARH's. To increase fueling and safety of the build, we also opted for methanol injection from Alky Control. This would give a great package to hit the streets without having to worry about roasting a piston or causing any other damage to the remaining stock components.

The results? This C7 made a gain of 249.32whp / 140.80wtq for final numbers of 672.50whp / 561.92wtq! That is a power increase that will really be felt on the street and the track.
