Good deal. Yep its kind of like gears...they lower dyno numbers as well but make you faster in real life

Around 12% for most stall converters.

That's fairly substantial. I've heard gears are around 2 to 4 percent in general

I ran 11.9 @ 111 mph in my buddies camaro with a 1.63 60' with pretty much the same setup as you except he has a yank PT 4000. That was in negative da. Maybe -150 ft.

Sounds great man! Seems half a second at the track just from swapping to the torque converter isn't so far out there. Are you still pretty much full weight with all the suspension mods?

Nice! I continue to think I will be very close(within a tenth or two) of the goal 11.9999 as long as I can get out of the hole nicely. Do you have a dyno graph of your buddies car? I know numbers aren't the end all be all, I'm just curious.

Awesome man! I would be plenty happy with that! Like I say I just wanted a goal for myself at the track. My car is truly a summer daily w/ only one or two trips to the track a year. I would like to see how your car would fair against your buddies if you just did some suspension mods. Do you experience any wheel hop or anything bad w/ the stock suspension? I think with a good tire mine will hook amazing lol

No wheel hop, I usually dead hook at the track.
I have never had a wheel hop problem no matter what tires I ran.

That is pretty much exactly me lol next year I will be dropping the stock k-member and getting a tubular plus an ATI balancer. I only drive and insure my car april-october cause winter time sucks haha

That's good man! I would not be mad at a 12.2 considering the mods we both could still do lol

OP using the dragtimes calculator depending on your race weight(3200-3600) your anywhere between 375 to 395 HP........that's pretty good for a non FAST bolt on car!
