Thanx for the info pozesd, i found your build thread right after this, i had seen on TSP site that the PRC225's were out of stock and still are until February..

His cam is the reason it does so well. So many people make the mistake of using the same cam and everything on a 383 as you would for a 346, and it ends up falling over after making more torque, but making the same power.

OP was smart enough to cam the motor accordingly, using piston velocity to get more flow out of the LS6 intake vs the 346. It still peaked early, though. With a bigger intake, the peak would extend out past 6500 vs the 6000-6200 it peaked at already. But honestly, if he's already looking into Nitrous, vs the 20-30 hp he'd get from an intake, the nitrous is better HP/$

Compression came out to 11.6:1. Yah we were all kind of amazed lol
