Drivability is OK.. Bucks pretty good at low speed... Gets into power at 3000 an pulls hard to the top!

Just got a torquer v4 and made 404/374 through an auto on a mustang dyno with the mods in my sig on stock injectors. I'm planning to get injectors and re tune it.

LS2 gto, PatG grind 235/243 .629/.629 112lsa, TSP cnc ported stock 243 castings, FAST 92mm intake, pacesetter long tube headers through stock resonator and 2.5" exhaust (need me an X pipe). made 440/406!

231/235 cam, fast102/102, tsp duals, 104mm lid,
6 speed. Made 438/406 through a 9" on a dyno jet in 60 degrees.

low speed driving can be a chore but daily driving is definitely posible even in stop and go traffic

Default 2005 cts-v 6.1 lq4


I finally got to baseline my 2005 V today. The car was like this when I purchased it. Less than 9k miles on the driveline.

LQ4 bored .030" over, Mahle forged pistons, H-beam rods with ARP2000 bolts, new LS3 heads and manifold, Comp cam 219/227 112 lsa. Compression is 10.8:1.

Exhaust
Kooks 1 7/8" longtubes with Calico coating, Stainless Works full 3" with X-pipe O

im in the middle of an argument on facebook with a guy claiming he made 400whp with a cam only ls1. literally cam only. no headers.

BTR Cam
upgraded valve springs. stock pushrods (which is dumb IMO)
stock LS6 intake.

I informed him I made 423/389 with a TREX cam kit, 243's, LT's, ORY, LS6 intake. he said I needed a better tuner.

so needless to say im having fun because he sounds like an idiot. agree? and if this is preferred to not be talked about here. deleting this comment is no big deal. or moved to the BS Thread.

Yeah he sounds like an idiot. he could have made 400 through a 10 bolt stick on a VERY happy dyno with those mods, but i doubt your 420 was through a forgiving dyno. Anybody who thinks that 50hp lies in the tune instead of the dyno hasent ever tuned a car (or even has a basic understanding of what tuning is). I highly doubt your tuner is leaving like 6° of timing out because thats what would have to be happening for that guys comment to make any sense
