Highly doubtful...

There is no 'new batch'. They just recently changed the chamber design a tad. They've been selling them for atleast a couple weeks now. It's no secret...

As lilbuddy said I am not from Patriot. I bought the car two weeks ago with all these mods done. The only thing I've done is added Taylor Thundervolt wires and new TR55 plugs and retuned it for the Dallas Climate. It has fairly low timing in the mid range and 29 total. Im at 100% duty cycle on the injectors from 4500rpm to redline so once I put 30# injectors in and have some time I will sit on the dyno and go for some more optimal #'s. Right now its just a safe tune due to the previous tun with 34 degrees total timing and a **** load in the mid range, ping central!

I don't know if it's really known to many yet, but they're working on a standard SBC head of their own. It's not LSX. It's pre Gen III stuff. They're also looking into the HEMI for modifications. They may already be there though...
I'm sure if you gave them a call, Gunner would be happy to give you a couple minutes of his time. He's a nice guy. The owner seems to be pretty generous with his busy time as well.
I don't work with or for them, nor do I know even one of them personally. I've just spent a lot of time on the phone with Gunner to discuss miscelaneous details and got into some 'shoot the ****' stuff a few times. Nice guys...

Those are some nice #'s. I'm pretty close to u and I have the 5.3's. I'm sure your car has a bigger torque band that mine.

I have a 6spd with a stock LS1 clutch that is slipping so my numbers might improve with a good clutch
