I need to make +400 rwhp and would like atleast 380 rwtq cam only. What cam would everybody recommend? This is a daily driver so it has to be tolerable but keep in mind that im driving w/ this loud *** car w/o radio, interior, sound deadening, and insulation so i can tolerate most. Need info ASAP!!!!

These are my current specs:
2001 block
1998 heads
ls1 intake
home port tb
home port Mass Air Sensor
Stainless Works Longtubes
3" true duals, x-pipe, bullet mufflers, turn downs
160* thermostat
new intake (remember this is a 68 camaro)
March underdrive pulley (not installed yet)

Rear end is a 12 bolt w/ 4.10s

if your only putting down 332rwhp with the mods listed sans TB and pulley your gonna need a hefty sized cam to hit 400rwhp. especially through a 12 bolt and 4.10's.

i recommend you read this forum and see what kind of numbers guys are putting down wiith there various setups.

I dynoed with 419/395 last tuesday with cam and mods bellow. I love it. It drives nearly just as smooth as the stock cam with the exception of first gear in parking lots it can be a lil jerky. In 6th i can run 1000 rpm and it is not jerky at all. Call Brian Tooley at Total Engine Airflow and tell him you want the same cam as D.j. He will know what one your talking about

Check into the LG Motorsports G5X3! We have several guys putting down 400 rwhp and we have the worst state for tunning and dynoing because of how hot it is and our shitty gas.

Thats what im getting in the next month or so.

I have seen the G5x2 and 228 cam turn out over 400 in 2 M6 cars with stock 10 bolts, and a few bolt ons.
