Default My numbers after TSP 225/589/114 and bolt ons.

The car is a 98 WS6 M6 with 76,000 miles on it.

Details. The car was over 350rwhp at 4,900. It held 380 from 5,800-6,500. The peak being 382 at 6,100-6,200. I gained 600 usable rpm.
The rwtq was over 300 from 2,400-6,500 and over 350 from 3,600-5,700 with a peak of 374 at 4,800.

I gained 73rwhp and 46rwtq over the Lid, Catted Y, and Cat back, 3.42 gear, which made 309/328.

Mods:
Home ported TB
LS6 intake
Pacesetter LT's
Y-pipe
ASP UD
TSP 225/589/114
4.10's

I think the 114 lobe sep might have cost me a few, and the gears might have also. Over all I am very happy. Now I want to hit my other goal of 115 in the quater.

Good numbers. Do you have a cutout?

That was through full exhaust with out cats. I don't have a cut out. The first numbers were through a MAC Y pipe with two 3" Random Tech cats. I basicly chose the cam because Gomer made so much power with the PRC heads. The heads are my next mod. Then maby an STS.

Nice numbers. What catback are you running? Also is that tuned or untuned?

I am running the Hooker cat back. And those numbers are tuned. My tuner picked up 13rwhp and 18rwtq over what I rolled in on. The afr was already 12.9 when I showed up. I think he did a pretty good job. We might try a few more things later when I have more time. I talked to Jason at TSP and he seemed a little disapointed with the numbers. He said I should have seen about 395 with my mods. There are a few more things I can do I think to wring the last bit of power out of it.

JRP. I do have a graph and a scanner but I don't know how to post it up. I can E-mail it to you if you want. I think I have seen you post things up for others in the past.

I am thinking about getting a Janzer TB, Smooth bellow, and maby some Harland Sharp rockers. That might be worth 10. I would really like to hit 400 with this cam. Any suggestions?

I will bet $10 that a 3" cutout in your I pipe will net you 5rwhp over the Hooker Catback. I picked up 4rwhp @ 5rwtq with my QTEC over my Corsa muffler. The inside's of the Corsa are more flow friendly than the Hooker aerochamber also, so you might stand to gain more. If you did a good job on your home ported TB like I did, then I don't see a benefit of buying an aftermarket one? Smooth bellows' look good but I doubt you will see any HP gain over the stock one. Roller Rockers might net you a few HP but nothing substantial for the $ spent. I've been using a set of Yella Terra 1.7's for year or so but if I could do it over again I would put the $ towards something else. HTH

I didn't go wild on TB so I think there is a little there. I talked to Mark Shaner today and he was pretty confident he can pick me up some. I have also read alot about how much better the car drives and reacts to WOT with his TB. I also talked to Mike at Harland Sharp. On a bone stock ZO6 they gained 11rwhp and 9rwtq with 1.7's. I am sure that is optimistic on my car but it cant hurt. He was also saying that the stock rockers don't like lift and fast ramp rates. They seem to come apart some times. The smooth bellow was just one last ditch effort to smooth out the flow into the TB. I bet I can do the same thing with some plumbing tube. I hear you on the cut out. I know they are worth power but I would never drive the car like that. I want to make 400rwhp with the car the way I drive it. Thanks for the imput bro. You have given me some things to think about. I will let you know what happens.

JRP. That account is inactive. I got my E-mail back.

I bet with a cutout you will be 5 to7 HP more as well as more Tq. I ran a Hooker cat back on my T1 cammed Z and picked up power and MPH (115) with the cutout open. It made 380HP 373Tq. M6 3.42's

Nice #'s.I am doing a 225 cam (just got out of the garage) but on a 112 with +2 advance. I also am replacing the heads with MTI \ 2e's and a set ot\f JetHot headers on my FRC Vette. I just put the cam in and called it a night. I wonder what kinda #s I will see. My guess is about 400 to 415 HP and 390 Tq.

115 is my mph goal. I thought about the 112 but I think it is negligable on power. I wanted the cam to idle well. I also found out I had a bad Maf sensor. I don't know if that was costing me any thing or not. I really want to hit 400 with the cam only. Time will tell. Post back the numbers when you get them. By the way, how big is the T1 cam?

Maybe I am looking at this wrong, but it appears your a/f for the last run is really lean compared to the other run where it seems to be much better.
