Default need help!

i have recently updated several components in my 98 ta. stock short block, fully ported ls1 heads, 220/220/581/581 lunati cam, manley pushrods/springs to go with cam, pacesetter lth with y pipe, flowmaster exhaust, stock intake with 85 mm bbk throttlebody, whisper lid with front air dam ram air setup. my duno numbers are very upsetting as according to everyone involved it should be 350 - 375 rwhp, i got 298 rwhp with a smooth graph on the dyno, it runs perfect, idles great, all the stuff it should except i am missing 50 hp somewhere. does anyone have any clue what might be wrong? i am running 4:10s with a 3500 stall that takes maybe 25-30 hp away but still a measley 298 hp? someone help me with some ideas on what i can look for. by the way no codes are showing anywhere. thanks, shannon

Autos will always dyno lower, but yeah, probably not that much lower. I'd first take it to another dyno, and see if that helps anything. If it doesn't, take it to the track and see what kinda times it runs. If you are still in the 13s, then you need some serious help. There are too many variables to give you a "do this" answer to magically get your car to put down the numbers you are hoping for.

My bolt-on only car dynoed more (340/356), but I'd be willing to bet you'd still hand me my *** in a race.

Is it tuned? LS1 intake or LS6 intake? How much timing and what was air/fuel?

stock intake with no advance on the cam, timing was set when i got the ls1 edit at texas speed when i got the dyno done. texas speed was very upset with my numbers as they are at a loss to explain the low hp #. they showed me the dyno graph and it had no dips or peaks, only a smooth hp # all the way to 6200 rpm. the motor runs hard and is running great. no problems. i just expected another 50 hp at least.
