Default Magic Stick, Longtubes, 100 Shot

Just got back from TSP. They installed the TSP MS3, longtubes, TNT F2 kit, with LS1 edit. The car made 402/365 on motor and 563/591 on a 100 shot. The n2o solenoid is not working properly and shuts off at 6k. When I get a new one maybe the numbers will go up. Oh, I'm also running pretty rich so we'll see what happens with a little less fuel.

Nice numbers, looks more like a 161 shot to me though.

Good numbers you sure it wasn't a 150 shot? TNT does rate there kits at the wheels so you were probably running the 150 jets,I heard only good things about that cam. How does the car feel all motor and on the bottle?

Great numbers man. Can you post a graph? I am looking into that cam and would love to see the power it makes down low too.

Do you have an underdrive pulley or ported TB? Were those runs thru the full exhaust or a cutout?

Nope, those were the 100 jets. The 150's were in but the n2o solenoid wasn't working right so we put the 100 in. I don't have a pulley and I kinda ported my own tb but it's not very good. The numbers are through full exhaust. The timing is set at 26 degrees for a 150 shot. But I think I'm gonna get it retuned for a 100 shot so I can make a little more power on motor. I'm running pretty rich too, we will retune that as well. I have the graph and videos. I'll try to get those up. I haven't raced anyone yet cause I have to break in the spec 3. The car feels really good with the cam, I need some gears though.

No not really. If he is getting 161 hp from blah blah jet size, it is a 161 shot. Doesn't matter if it is labeled "100 shot". Put the "150 shot" in the car and he will probably blow his motor up when it gives him 220 hp.

The jetting is for RWHP and for a stock car. When you add items, like this cam, that love nitrous, those numbers grow. Internal parts like heads and cam that are nitrous specific will make a 100 shot way more efficent, thus putting out better numbers.

I could, but I don't have a laptop. I'm going to get one soon though. Could I do that with LS1 edit?

i think so.. with either program you should be able to like save the stock tune, a tune for n/a and a tune for n2o.. i know my buddy with hp tuners has quite a few tunes downloaded.. he woudl make some changes, and save his old tune so he could go back to it if the changes didn't help.. he was tuning for his cam.. so i do not see why u coudn't make a tune for n/a, then n2o ect... i heard it takes only like 30 seconds for the hp tuners to swap it.. dunno about edit.

Oh, I fixed the "rich" problem. It was actually the fuel solenoid spraying a little fuel into the intake when the system wasn't on. Now that I disconnected it, it starts and runs great.
