Default What do you think I will dyno tomorrow?

Just wondering if anyone wants to guess? Ill post the graph tomorrow.

I already know what A4's w/ my mods are suppose to dyno but i would like to see how close you guys are.

Mods

2002 rally red A4 Z28

Magnaflow Exhaust/K&N filter/Free Mods/LS6 Block/NGK TR55 Plugs/3.42 Gears/Clear MTI Lid/Porter TB/Aluminum D.S/Smooth Bellow/ M/T ET Streets/ Flowtechs Headers/ FLowtech ORY/HP Tuners/160* Hyperstat/Lower control arms/relocation brackets/TnT Nitrous
Ram Air II Hood/C5 Rims/Nitto 555E Tires

Also I have been told that 18's will make me lose like 10rwhp is this true? I plan to dyno on 16's since thats what i race with but im curious now.

Also I want to dyno the nitrous but dont have a window switch. Last time i dynoed they put it in 3rd and hit the rev limiter.
They should be able to just leave it in 4 right?

I'd have to say about the same 330-340. I wouldn't think 18 would make you lose power i guess it might have to do with added weight but 10 hp seems high

330-335 due to the gears as well you may loose some since your not in the powerband as much-i doubt you looks 10 hp form the 18's either mayb 3-4

on an auto it hasta be in 3 cuz thats the 1:1 like the 6 speeds 4th gear is 1:1

you would not believe it. 308/311 and 370 w/ nitrous

This was a tnt wet kit even tho my car dynoed low shouldnt it still put down like 408 unless a lot of fuel was killing it?

Im depressed!

My car runs 12.5 @ 114 and nitrous 11.5 @ 125.5

Is it possible for a car w/ that little hp to run those numbers? Those TRAPS?

The only thing i can think of is that I tuned my car to run in 27-30* weather a while back and it was 80 iat temp when dynoing. At WOT I was adding 9 fuel all the way down.... I checked out the a/f ratio and it was like 960-70s no nitrous....

Could this do it or do I just have a fast number no dynoing car? Car is heavey btw 3650 raceweight...

I am going to start a new thread so i can get some opinions but that the details

those numbers seem really low to me. how much were you spraying? dont worry too much about the dyno numbers, the 1/4 mile numbers is what matters, and you're doing good there.

What's you 60 ft times and i do not think it's possible for a 308 hp car to trap 114mph sound more like you did this with a G-tech going down a big hill and no way will it trap 125mph @ 370 HP BTW what type of dyno was is it??

It was a dynojet..... 60's were 1.95-1.97 n/a and 1.87 nitrous..... Not gtecked downhill lol....

On slicks I run 12.50 @ 111 but it was in hotter weather.

I beat a 500rwhp cobra the other day so the car runs good imo.... I also ran .2 faster at the track than a car that dyno 340 on the same day (n/a).

Nitrous he dynoed 444rwhp i think and mine was 370...

At the track he was spraying thru 1st w/ trapping 90 was...i was spraying thru 2nd only trapping 94-95...

His 60's were slightly better....both around 2.00

This was however after I changed the tune however. Like i said hp tuners was saying i was in the 10/11's a/f ratio but dunno if thats trustable non wideband....

So obviously it must have been the tune in your opinion. There is no doubt about the times. I have slips

Something doesn't add up here. Your all stock internal?? I mean 114 is a very good trap speed for an A4 and what you have listed as mods.Did you dyno these #'s before or after your tune

After I had put a tune in for 30* weather about 3 weeks ago.... The IAT was reading about 80 during the dyno runs...

It was adding 18 on one side of the ltft and 0 on the other .... they were both running high 900's

I think something is wrong as well...

Even if I had a slug motor and say dynoed 300 w/ a tnt 100 shot wouldnt It still pick me up much more than what it did ? 950 psi ....

unless I was running super rich due to the cold weather tune?

After the dyno i went to the track but fixed my tune since it was completely red everywhere on the ltft's..

I know i should have gotten some times before the tune but after it was

running 8.3 @ 87-88
8.0 spraying from 60mph till the end trapping at 94-95

Last time at the track I ran 8.01 @89-90 tho....n/a
