Default My friend and I got a bet..what ya think?

Ok so im getting my car dyno'd for some baseline #'s this weekend. Current mods are in the sig. My friend (hes a 300zxTT enthusiasts and his car puts down about 600rwhp) hes tellin me that my car isnt gunna dyno more than 313rwhp. I tell him 02 SS's dyno's at about 315 stock. I told him i might dyno at about 330. What you guys think?

I think you will do better than 315 thats for sure. If you don't then something is wrong with your car.

So you've got a borla and a ported TB and you're gonna dyno with heavy *** TTII's on the car and shitty Cali gas? Good luck breaking 315.

With a cutout I think you'll be in the ~320 range.

i say ~325rwhp. make sure to run on a dynojet. you could always install a cutout, leave it capped, make the bet and say with the mods on the car ill hit over 313, then open the cutout before you dyno

A ported throttle body doesn't do much on the dyno and a cat-back may get you 10 hp so 320-325 is reasonable. 91 is 91 but other states have 93 which helps a little.

With the Borla set up with no plate and since you have a induction upgrade you should be 320 + RWHP (not certain how well those FIPK flow).

.....the torque is where the '01-02's have an advantage over the older LS1's.

CA and AZ have the worst gas, we get it from the same pipeline.

yeah the plate is open on the borla, also blue six said something about my TTII's being heavy, i could see how that would affect my ET and mph a lil on the track but how would it matter on a dyno?

I guess they are suppose to work alright with the hood scoop (even though they arent really that function until ur pass 80mph) It was my first mod before i knew anything about these cars, if i were to go back id prob get a MTI clear lid with the free ram air mod. but o wellz maybe ill do it later when i get my heads/cam in, headers, and cut otus

More rotating mass will eat more hp. Heavy wheels have more rotating mass than lighter wheels.

My 00 WS6 with just lid/LS6 intake (that you have stock) and a loudmouth put down 335/341 SAE. Stock wheels, but you should be right around 315 i'd think.
