Default MS3 A4 results!!!!

Finally got to the dyno Saturday and was very pleased with the results. Cam only ms3, ls6, stock tb, tci3500, 3.23, heavy zr1's asp qtp headers custom 3" true duals made 380 rwhp and 417 rwtq unlocked. I had some problems with my fuel solenoid and sprayed a 200 shot three times with the fuel solenoid not working at all. Man how strong are the stock lsx motors huh???? Finally got the fuel solenoid working and made 562 rwhp and 617 rwtq unlocked on an empty bottle at 950 psi. Needless to say I was very pleased with the na results. It was still real rich up top on the na tune so I'm sure there is some more power to be had there but we ran out of time.

Big thanks to Chris and JeffT at TNC performance for helping me!!!!!!

Why's that? I'm really looking into getting this cam after my LS6 intake goes on. My car is a DD though and I'd like to keep it that way. Doesn't necessarily have to be, but it'd be nice. My 3600 stall doesn't bother me at all....I kinda wish it was larger.

380rwhp.....nice.

well some people want a nice quiet car that doesn't shake and one that gets better than 10-15 mpg! I love the cam and I DD mine every day but just because I like it doesn't mean that the next person will. I just didn't want it to seem like it ran and drove like it did when it was stock. As far as the verter goes I went with a lower stall for nitrous!!!

Quite is for slow cars. When you put meat into it your going to hear it! Nice numbers, Especially for A4. I love mine, went from a 3200 to a 3800, what a differance in the stall. Get some times and let us know. Good Luck! I do love my spray!

Good #'s (especially torque). I would've expected a hell of alot more HP out of that combo though.

The high tourque is from the converter. And as far as the "hell of a lot more hp" I couldn't be happier with my hp numbers. Haven't seen many 380 rwhp cam only a4 cars. Most m6 guys are only getting 400-430 with this cam and these numbers were with an unlocked tourque converter. If I had locked it, probably would have seen higher numbers.

couldn't agree with you more with the quiet thing. I was told by a few people that i did not want to go to high on my stall because if I did it prob. wouldn't last too long. Should have some times in a few weeks!!

Not knocking you man, just that I know a guy who dynoed in my area recently w/simliar mods & a much smaller cam knock down the same HP, but nowhere near the same torque in an 01 a4.

Well i know a guy who knows a guy that has your exact same mods and runs mid 10's.

380rwhp cam only through an unlocked converter is awesome.

I am in no way saying that I have the highest a4 dyno numbers at all. I am pleased with them and thats all that I care about. Were the numbers you speak of with the converter locked? Also just a note for you, the dyno that I dynoed on is notorious for giving low numbers too. My friend dynoed there and went to another dyno with the same conditions and made 24 more horsepower so when its all said and done its just a number. The track is were it counts!!

God i want that cam sooooo bad. It's a toss up between that cam and the HPE S cam which i can get for bout $100 cheaper b/c i know a guy selling one. So i dont know. Im hoping for similar #s through my M6, 12 bolt, 4.11s. due to my shitty 98 heads.

Excellent numbers unlocked! I am sure you would see 400 hp locked. For a cam only setup you wont find many better unless its a shop car with all the tricks.

Im sure its a killer on the track too.

Congrats
